Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (50-60 minutes)

EMDR uses something called bilateral stimulation to help the brain resume its natural healing process. If our brains do not effectively process disturbing events, the memories can get “stuck” maladaptively in our brains, resulting in overwhelm, anxiety, depression and other various symptoms.

By using bilateral stimulation (eye movements or tapping) while processing the stressful event, the brain’s normal healing process resume and the stress response is resolved.
